Launching Violet Dreams Party Time

It’s official.  We are launching ‘Violet Dreams Party Time’ as of NOW!

We have decided to add another limb to our online store in the form of Party Planners – as we like to call them.  It has been a huge decision to make, but we have made it and we are now fully commited to getting this arm up and running. 

Since we decided to go in this direction I have been spending a load of time getting together all the documentation that is necessary before we can start recruiting our Planners.  I currently have a recruitment pack all ready to go so that is a major achievement.  I have also been designing the party invitations, thank you cards, party confirmation cards, order forms and much more, and it has been somewhat of a challenge.

We have decided to call our new ‘limb’ VIOLET DREAMS PARTY TIME and it will be a combination of our products from both of our websites – www.violetdreamslingerie.co.uk and www.violetpleasure.co.uk (please note this is an adult site).  Our planners will have flexibility in regards to what they would like to carry in their sales kit in that if they would like to concentrate on Lingerie rather than the Sex Toys, that’s fine – or vise versa.

Valentines Day

Well, here we are on 8 Jan 09 with Christmas and New Year barely behind us, the Christmas sales not yet out of all the stores, and already we are getting directed to Valentines Day.

New Classified Catalogue

Finally, after waiting for a while, we have the new Classified line and are busy updating our website.  Watch this space for more info and some great pics of the new items available.

Don’t worry though, much of last years stock is still in the new Catalogue and they have just added some great new items for your enjoyment.

Halloween!!!

Well it’s that time of year again when everyone dusts off last years costume to check if it still fits (at least I do!)

I was thinking about Halloween the other day and got to wondering how everyone celebrates(?) it.  In our house we get some decorations out in the front garden and get the kids all dressed up.  Of course, I have to get dressed up too, then when the trick or treaters arrive it gives them a thrill to be greated by a Vampiress in all her glory!

While our kids are young we have tended not to have Halloween parties so the last few years have been fairly low key times, hence the dusting off of the old costume, but I do remember a time when we went all out to party the night away in costume.

There was one year (when I was living in San Francisco) that we drove for an hour to get to a party and our driver was dressed as Dracula.  His costume was awesome, as was his make up (done by yours truly) and we had great fun on the journey as cars would drive past us with everyone craning their necks to get a look at us.

More recently, in London, working in a pub, we dressed as Zombies and spent the evening behind the bar.  That was an interesting evening – torn and tattered clothing and white face paint on our faces, hands, hair – you name it, anything that was visable was painted white!  By the end of the evening we were a mess! but it was fun.

This Summer (2008)

This sumer has been an interesting time.  We moved premises at the beginning of July, then had a holiday and came back to a busy month in August with loads of family around, AND our business has been growing well in the summer sunshine, despite the credit crunch .. which is good!

Life has certainly been very busy over the summer holidays.  The kids have been very busy and we have had visits from both sets of grandparents (from overseas) which has been great for all of us, but very difficult to keep up with business with all the family around.  Shouldn’t complain though, we don’t see them often.

Well, back to business with a vengence now so watch this site for more info.

As the Summer holidays draw to an end and I look back over the last 3 or 4 weeks, I realise how busy we have been.  Live has been hectic with family visiting from overseas, a family holiday, and kids, kids, kids!  In amongst all that, I have been trying to sort things out after our move at the beginning of July – wow, I can’t believe it is already the end of August (almost).
